Welcome To Howell House

Safe and Comfortable Senior Living

Located in the serene west side neighborhood of Augusta, Maine, Howell House offers a safe and comfortable community residence for seniors aged 55 and older.

Named in honor of one of its benefactors, Christine Howell, Howell House is the realization of a vision that began in the late 1930s. A group of women, led by Christine Howell, sought to create a safe community residence for elderly parishioners of Saint Mary Of the Assumption Church. This dream became a reality in July 2002 when Howell House opened its doors..
